For eight weeks since publication (16.12.2003) the paper is subject to on-line discussion (follow the same link). The paper is important for the biotic regulation studies as it contains further theoretical support for the statement that a climate with liquid hydrosphere is physically unstable (that is, spontaneously degrades to a state unfit for life if left without biotic control).
